The Council is in Eifionydd and is a mixture of small and medium sized villages situated in a beautiful rural area. Here the Welsh language is used naturally every day and there is a wealth of Welsh culture all around. |

The back bone of the local economy are the agriculture, food production and tourism industries and the landscape is a mixture of lush grazing, moors and forestry land which reaches from the banks and estuary of the Dwyfach river to the summit of Garn Bentyrch (748 feet above sea level)
